The Cisco StackWise-160 stacking cable, STACK-T2-1M, allows you to connect 3650 Series switches that have the 3650 Stack Module installed (3650-STACK-KIT). With the StackWise-160 technology you can stack up to 9 switches with a stack bandwidth of 160 Gbps. Once stacked, the 3650 behaves as a single switch and is managed by a single “active” switch. The StackWise technology by Cisco is a premium stacking architecture and provides redundancy by allowing a standby switch to take over if the “active” switch fails to keep the stack operational. You can continue to add or remove switches from a working 3650 stack wtihout service interruption.
