Juniper Networks JNP-QSFP-100G-LR4 Compatible 100GBASE-LR4 QSFP28 1310nm 10km DOM Duplex LC SMF Optical Transceiver Module. Compatible with Juniper networking devices and equivalent to Juniper JNP-QSFP-100G-LR4 is this 100GBASE-LR4 QSFP28 transceiver. It is ideal networking equipment for transmitting over long distances and provides a highly economical means of establishing 100-Gb connectivity between devices utilizing the QSFP28 port. Also, it uses a single channel for 100Gb/s optical transmission after converting 25Gb/s electrical data from 4 input channels in terms of 4 channels of LAN WDM optical signals, then multiplexing them together. The transceiver supports link lengths of up to 10 km along single mode fiber (SMF) at a specified wavelength between 1295 nm and 1310 nm using a duplex LC connector.

The QSFP28 module provides 100GBase-LR4 throughput up to 10km over a standard pair of single mode fiber (SMF) with duplex LC connectors. This transceiver is compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4, IEEE 802.3bm, SFF-8665 and SFF-8636 standards. Digital diagnostics functions are also available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA, to allow access to real-time operating parameters. With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable to be used in various applications, such as 100G telecom connections, data center, high-performance computing networks, enterprise core and distribution layers, campus networks etc.
